3 Tips for Authors

 As you scan the books on the shelves at your local library, your eyes fall on a book called “101 Tips for Authors”. “That’s a lot of tips!”, you think to yourself. “How would I ever have time to read all of that?!” Okay, I know that those books do help, but they’re not for everyone. So, below I have not 101, not 384, but 3 simple tips that will (hopefully!) help you as an author, or just someone who likes to write. Here they are below: Carry a Small Notebook with You Wherever You Go Seriously, this helps so much. If you’re anything like me, then you get some of your best ideas at not so convenient times. Trust me, you will relax more once you get those great ideas out of your head. Otherwise, you could forget them. One idea that could’ve glorified God so much if you made it a reality, didn’t happen, because you didn’t have a small notebook with you to write your idea down. How to Set Up A War Room

 I recently set up a section of my closet to become my War Room. It’s been super helpful and cute too! For those of you who don’t know, a War Room is basically a prayer closet, or a section of your closet that you pray in. If you’re not sure if you have the space, or if you want to set it all up, or if you’ll have the time to even pray, well, keep reading. Below are some common issues you might have on the subject of a War Room. I Don’t Have the Space Well, let me say this: that’s what I thought too when started to question if I should have a War Room, and I have one now. It just took a little rearranging, and I had to move some things out of my closet. I was partly using my closet for storage for other random things as well as for clothes. You might be doing that too! So, take the stuff that aren’t clothes out of your closet, and rearrange a bit. You most likely have room.
