Thanksgiving Gratefulness

Hey everyone! This week, we’re going to take a break from the gift guide series just because it’s Thanksgiving and I want to put a post on the blog about gratefulness. Let’s get into it!  “I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done. I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.” -Psalm 143:5-6 (NIV) We need Jesus. Like the verse said, we thirst for Him. We can’t live a good life without Him, and thankfulness reminds us of that. Thankfulness can help revive a faith and can spark a little bit more inspiration in our hearts to how good God is and how great it is to have a relationship with Him. Maybe you reflect on God’s goodness every Thanksgiving already, but even if you don’t, I encourage you to. To do that, you could… Play some worship music on your phone and sing the words to God aloud or in your head Write a list of things you’re thankful for in your journal or prayer journal (with worship music play...

Christmas Gift Guide Part 1

Hey everyone! If you’re like me, then it’s the time of year when you are starting to buy Christmas gifts for people in your life. I introduce to you…my Christmas Gift Guide! This is part 1: siblings. Personally, I have three older brothers. I don’t have any sisters, so for that category I’m just writing a few things that are on my own Christmas list this year for each category and things that a lot of girls like.  Gift Guide for Brothers For the athletic brothers… Something from an expensive athletic brand that they love but don’t have a lot of because of the prices (if you’re on a budget like me, look for the smaller things: socks, a water bottle, a bag, etc.) A gift card to an athletic brand (expensive or not) they like. Energy drinks they like Protein bars they like Earbuds, a speaker, or headphones they want for working out in. Or a nice case for earbuds or headphones. A snack they like but don’t get a ton of All my brothers would fit into the athletic category, so it’s t...

November 2025 Monthly Book Review

Hey! I hope you’re having a great Friday so far. I can’t wait to share this book with you; it’s a great one. It totally gives fall vibes -even though fall is over shortly. Maybe you can save it for next fall! The Golden Hour Written By: Eva Austin  My Rating: 8 out of 10; 4. 25 out of 5 stars My Description  This cozy and clean romance book mixes fall vibes with young adult characters to create a story that will keep you reading until completion! Emma is a published author and has loved to write for a very long time. She puts a lot of focus into her writing, but doesn’t fail to miss out on love. Next door to the coffee shop Emma works is an attractive builder that is stealing her attention, while long-known Bryson has become the most annoying pest to her. With a fall festival, blue-prints for a little-free library, and pumpkin spice lattes, this book won’t disappoint. My Recommendation for Age Group: 12+ Fiction or Non-fiction? Fiction Would I Recommend this Book to Othe...

Faith Glow Up: Week 4

Hey! Today we’ll talk about faith art!  This first idea is simple yet cute. Just write on a sticky note (you can write a Bible verse or reminders from Scripture), then stick it to your car’s flip down mirror from above. Then, whenever you touch up your makeup, you can also be reminded of Scripture and whatever you wrote! If you don’t have a car yet (guilty), then save this idea for when you do! This next photo is of sticky notes on a mirror in a bathroom. But you could do it on a mirror in your bedroom too. Some of the sticky notes have Bible verses, and some of them have reminders of what God says about you on them. This is a great idea to try too! The picture above is a great idea, and I encourage you to try it out. I love how they did it behind a door, but you could definitely do it behind a closet door, on your wall, or on your mirror. You could even make a goal for how often you put up another sticky note! I hope you try one or more of these ideas! “Love the LORD your Go...
