You Are Loved by The Most High

Hey! In a week, it’s Valentine’s Day. Love is the theme of Valentine’s Day if you ask me, and God loves us! Instead of chocolate, flowers and romance movies, meditate on God’s love for you. Here are some suggestions for things to help you do that!

Bible Verses

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” -Romans 8:38-39, ESV

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:8, ESV

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.” -1 John 4:7, ESV

Journaling Prompts

First Prompt: Think about God’s love for you. You can do the worst things in the world, but God will still love you immeasurably. Name five different ways you can praise and thank Him for that.

Second Prompt: God loves us, but we shouldn’t keep it to ourselves. Name ten different ways you can show love to those around you this month. Put a checkbox next to each of the ten ways, then hang up your checklist. Every time you finish a way, check it off! Go until you’ve finished all ten. Maybe even reward yourself with a chocolate or something when you complete it.

I hope you read, listen, and write about Gods’ love for you with those suggestions. Maybe write a note that says God Loves You and hang it somewhere that you’ll see it all the time. But don’t keep this love to yourself; pour it out to those around you!

(Also, know that something really big and really fun is coming soon to the blog!!!)
