March 2025 Monthly Book Review

It’s monthly book review time! March edition. I recently read this book, and it is GREAT! Here we go!

Lies Girls Believe; and the Truth that Sets Them Free

Written By: Dannah Gresh

My Rating: 10 out of 10

My Description

This book is all about getting rid of the lies and covering yourself in truth. It includes twenty common lies that girls ages eight to twelve believe. Lies Girls Believe also talks about ways to get rid of any lies that you may be believing, and replacing it with the truth. This book is color-filled and very pleasing to the eye. In the back of the book, it even includes two pages with all twenty lies on them, replaced with the truth that you could rip out and hang, or copy into a personal journal!

My Recommendation for Age Group: 10-13 year old girls

Fiction or Non-fiction? Non-fiction

Would I recommend this book to others? YES!!! If you are a 10-13 year old girl, you need to read this book. Like, right now!

One thing I learned from this book: Lies are sneaky and make you believe that they are truth, when they’re not. You need to figure out the lie/lies you are believing, and replace it with Truth found in the Bible. Then, take the Bible verses you chose and put them where you can see them -on an index card in your purse, on paper on your walls or cork board, written on your white board, memorized in your head, and anywhere else!

As you can tell by my 10 out of 10 review, you definitely should read this book if you are a tween or teen girl. It will help you defend yourself with the Truth against lies! God bless!

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” -John 8:32 (NIV)
