Summer is finally here! I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to go to beaches, have picnics, go to fun camps, play beach volleyball, do trail runs, and even just eat a slice of watermelon on our back patio. Summer is so much fun, and in this post, I’ll give you a few ideas to help you welcome it.
Welcoming Summer into your Bedroom
Here are a few key elements to add to your bedroom that scream “Summer!”
- Brightly colored anything! Pillows, blankets, tassel garland, etc.
- Photos or paintings of beaches or lakes
- Succulents or plants
Here is some inspo from Pinterest!
Welcoming Summer into your Journal
To welcome Summer into your journal…
- Create a Summer Bucket List in your journal! If you want, you can rip it out and hang it up. You could even have it divided into three sections: easy, medium, and hard. Just an idea!
- Draw some summer art! Inspo from Pinterest below:
- Create trackers in your journal! Step trackers, mood trackers, etc. S’more ideas from Pinterest below (Get it? S’more?)
Welcoming Summer into Your Routines
Summer routines, morning and nightly, should be laid back. This is a season to relax. Enjoy it! That’s all I’ve got to say about this!
I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed creating it. I love inspo from Pinterest (as you may have guessed), and I love “summer-y” things. Anyways, here’s a great Bible verse for summer!
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” -Ecclesiastes 3:1, NLT
