Calling All Summer Bookgirlies!

Welcome to the post of your bookish dreams! We’re chatting about bookshelf organization, summer book recommendations, and summer elements to add to your book time. Let’s do it!

Bookshelf Organization

For your bookshelf, make sure that you have a specific place to put your TBR (To Be Read) stack. I use a basket, put you can make whatever you’ve got work! You can even put them on your nightstand or side table like the pic above! For bookshelves that are like the one below, you can use one or two of the cubes for your TBR, depending on how many books you have in that stack.

If you have a bookshelf that is rows like the one below, you can designate one row for your TBR, or you can just use a basket on one shelf for it. You can even just have those books normally stacked with a bookend to section it off from your other books.

That’s enough about TBR stacks. For the rest of your books, you can organize them by genre. Be creative with how you display your books. I hope the pics gave you some inspo for that.

Summer Book Recs (Recommendations)

Looking for a good summer read? Set a goal. How many books or what series do you want to finish by the end of the summer? But what books or what series do you read to fill that goal? I’m glad you asked.

In a fantasy mood?

Or

Want girly fiction with romance?

Start with that volume (volume 1), then move on to the rest of the series. Or…

What about some non-fiction?

Or for more Sadie Rob…

Last but not least…

Summer Elements To Add To Your Book Time

All I need to say is this: Take a rejuvenating sip of your iced coffee as you dip your toes in the water at your favorite beach, then stroll over to your towel by the shore and indulge in your page-turner of a book. Talk about summer book-girly aesthetic! Grab your iced and overpriced beverage, your summer read, a dry towel, and you’re set.

Have the best summer ever, bookgirlies! God bless!
