I love writing about fashion, so here’s another post about it -back to school edition! Let’s start with the foundation, clothes.
Clothes
So this is the main part of fashion. It’s hard to give you outfit ideas, because we all have different pieces in our closets. But, I’ll try! I love the look of having either a fitted top or bottom piece, and then the other piece is baggy (joggers and a fitted top or leggings and a sweatshirt). I recommend that because it’s always comfortable. You could even organize your closet by putting baggy items on the left and fitted items on the right of your closet rack! Anyway, here are some pictures to give you ideas for outfits (again, we don’t have the same clothes, so just picture whatever jean shorts I have to whatever jean shorts you have and so on):
Those are just some Back To School vibes! I encourage you to go through your own closet and “copy” any of those outfits with the pieces you have! Example: for picture number one, you could use any fitted top with any jean shorts! Because they don’t have to match my color choices, you can use any colors that look good with each other!
Hair
So you can look at these photos for inspo or the previous photos! As you can tell, I love giving you inspiration so that you can go and do that thing in your style (fashion, room decorating, or many other blog posts of mine). Here are the hair photos! (All of these below are from Pinterest).
Accessories
Here is a fashion formula you can use any day: take a very simple outfit such as jeans and a plain colored t-shirt or joggers and a fitted top, then go crazy with hair and accessories! Let me just encourage you to go through your jewelry, purses, hair clips, etc. and discover any ones that you’ve not touched in a while. Even just going through and looking at that stuff can make you think things like: “I’m going to use this purse tomorrow” or “Ooh! This would look cute with my new sweatshirt!” Try it!
Outfit Plans
Let me just be honest with you. The weeks I use outfit planners are so much better fashion-wise. I already have everything picked out so I don’t have to spend time on that in the morning or even the night before, I have good outfits than otherwise, and I just don’t scramble to pick out outfits and pick out something terribly horrendous. So, I recommend spending some to research outfit plans, print one out, and fill them out for the coming week. Maybe print out a few different ones to put aside to be filled out for the weeks to come too! You don’t even have to have one from online either! Just use index cards or a notebook or just a piece of paper. Write down the outfit for each day (looking at the weather forecast first), the hair for each day, and the jewelry and accessories for each day. Go for it!
So there’s my fashion chat with you in BTS (Back to School) language. God Bless!
