Last week, we talked about fires that spread like the Gospel. This week, I’m going to add on to that and talk specifically about being a strong Christian and adding to your fire for Jesus everyday.
Have you ever seen those “faith baskets” on Pinterest? Like the one above? All the stuff in it looks so fun and cutesy to use in your time with God! Sometimes, we need to create a basket like that in our house or bedroom to have easy access to spend fun time with God. God is not boring, so we shouldn’t make our time with Him boring. This is actually going to be a series (starting on October 17) that I will do. But for now, consider this post your intro to that series.
We need to care for our fires for Jesus. You can probably think of many ways to do that, like reading your Bible or praying. Those things are really good and essential to our faith in Jesus Christ. So instead of me writing more for you to read (therefore, taking away time you could be spending with our Savior), just spend some heartfelt time in prayer with God, using the prayer below.
