October 2025 Monthly Book Review

It’s fall! I hope you’re excited too, because fall is so cozy and pumpkin spice latte-filled. As the weather gets colder, we spend more and more time inside. It’s time to make our houses look great as we prepare to spend our time inside for the cold winter months. Let’s take a look at a book that will help us with that. And this is one of my all-time favorites, so I would recommend at least checking it out from your local library.

The Home Edit for Teens

Written By: Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin

My Rating: 10 out of 10 -like I said, this is one of my favorite books ever.

My Description

Organizing, cleaning, and decorating simply can’t seem boring with The Home Edit for Teens. Clea and Joanna give inspiration, tips, and step-by-step processes to help you organize. This book isn’t just about your bedroom (though most of it is), it’s also about how to organize your suitcases and bags for travel, how to organize a great content corner, and how to organize all the goods for your next sleepover or pool party. With lots of inspiring and cute pictures, this book will make you want to organize all day long -at least it does for me!

My Recommendation for Age Group: tweens and teens (and college age too, if you want to organize your dorm)

Fiction or Non-fiction? Non-fiction

Would I Recommend this Book to Others? YES!

One Thing I Learned from this Book: Organizing, cleaning, and decorating are actually incredibly fun, and are a life skill too!

I hope you love this book as much as I do, and I will see you next week!
