Journaling Through Lent: Week 6

Hey!! Sorry I didn’t post on here last week -it was a pretty busy week, but now I’m back to it. This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and I wanted to write about that.

In Mark 11:1-11, Jesus is riding in to Jerusalem on a donkey. People were praising Him, saying “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” The people were laying palm branches and cloaks on the road ahead of Him. They were honoring and praising Jesus.

The attribute of Jesus I want to talk about today is that He sees you fully and knows everything about you because He created you! When He was riding into Jerusalem on the donkey with people surrounding Him, He saw each of their stories. He saw them fully just like He sees you fully. He knows everything about you and loves you -despite some bad things that may be lingering in your heart. Let’s add on to the truths of this series!

Truth #5: Jesus sees you and knows you fully (Psalm 139:1-4, NIV)

Psalm 139:1-4 (NIV) says: “You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely.”

Journaling Prompt: Why does knowing that Jesus sees you and knows you make you feel loved?

See you next week! God Bless!
