April 2026 Monthly Book Review

I realized that I didn’t do a Monthly Book Review in March, so here’s April’s Book Review! I read Just Friends by Haley Pham in March, and it was a five star book, so I need to do a review for it.

Just Friends

Written By: Haley Pham

My Rating: 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My Description

Blair and Declan were childhood best friends. In their senior year of high school, something happened that made them break up -it’s a pretty big thing, so I’m not going to spoil that. It’s years later, and Blair comes back home from college because her Aunt Lottie’s cancer became pretty serious. She stumbles into a coffee shop one day while back in her hometown and sees none other than…Declan. All the past emotions and fears come to the surface. That’s all I’m going to say, because you just have to read this book -it’s SO good.

My Personal Recommendation for Age Group: Teens or YA (Young Adult)

Fiction or Non-fiction? Fiction -romance to be exact

Something I Learned from this Book: That I really want to try a marshmallow-flavored latte! JK. That the simple moments can (a lot of the time) hold so much more value than the grand, expensive moments -if that makes sense.

Anyways, definitely go check this book out; it’s super well-written, fun, easy to read, and amazing! God Bless!
