Maybe it’s just me, but can you believe it’s already the second monthly book review? It feels like yesterday when I posted the one for October. If you haven’t read the October 2024 Monthly Book Review, check it out HERE: https://misslilyjayne.blogspot.com/2024/10/october-2024-monthly-book-review.html Anyway, here is this month’s book review!
Library Girl
Written by: Polly Horvath
My Rating: 8 out of 10
My Description
Library Girl by Polly Horvath is a fictional book about a girl who grew up in a library. When she was a baby, she was found on a bookshelf of the library by all the children’s librarians. They kept her a secret, and her bedroom was in the inner office of the children’s librarians’ office. The book takes place mostly when Essie (the library girl) is eleven years old. I will say the story is a little unbelievable, but it was a great story, and I recommend it.
My Recommendation For Age Group: 10-12
Fiction or Non-fiction? Fiction
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes!
One thing I learned from this book: That you don’t have to live in a fancy house to be happy; if you’re living with those you love, you can have happiness.
There it is; go see if your local library has this book. If you want to know how good it actually was, know that I read it in less than a week! Hope you enjoyed this month’s book review!
