The Kindness Challenge

This week is a little different. Why? Instead of just telling and teaching, this week is your time to act on what you know is good. How? With The Kindness Challenge. It’s maybe already a thing, and if it is, this is the Miss Lily Jayne version of it. Let me give you some more info before we get started.

The Kindness Challenge is basically a big mash-up of Random Acts of Kindness, charities, volunteer work, etc. Each day for five days, you have a challenge to complete. They’re not hard, but they will bless people. So let’s get started! Screen shot the kindness challenge schedule below (you may have to crop out the paragraphs above and below it), and print it out, or just write it down. (Also the link to the Loving Others Kit is HERE) The challenge schedule is below!

The Kindness Challenge

Before you begin: Make the Loving Others Kit. Also remember that you can switch around some of the days to work with your schedule. Example: You want to switch Day 3 to one of the other days and put the other one in its place because you’re going to the library on a different day. If that makes sense.

Day 1: Paint three kindness rocks. You can paint designs on them, encouraging words, or whatever you want. Go on walk and place each rock in a different spot along the way.

Day 2: Write John 3:16 on a piece of paper and leave it somewhere in public (on a shelf in a store, on someone’s car windshield, etc.). If you don’t go out anywhere today, go on a walk like in Day 1 and leave the paper somewhere (Taped to a street lamp post, put in a mailbox, placed on the front step of a house, given to someone you see who’s on a walk too, etc.)

Day 3: When you return a book to the library leave a sticky note on the front of the book that has an encouraging message, quote, or Bible verse for the librarian or whoever to see.

Day 4: Pray for someone in particular.

Day 5: Make a tie blanket (or more than one -you could do it with a group and you each make one!) and donate it somewhere (a hospital, your church, a nursing home, an orphanage, a church nursery or any place for babies, etc.)

If/when you complete the challenge, go to the Blogger Contact Form and write to me about what you did and that you completed it! Thanks!

That’s the challenge! Good luck and God bless! You got this!
